Team Leader - PIC Design and Simulation

Your mission

Develop a highly performant PIC and Software design team of 3 people;
Own the simulation, photonic design process including design for test, design for manufacturing and design for packaging aspects;
Drive the development of new products and technologies;
Contribute to the implementation of our agile development mindset and putting effective tools in place;
Impact all other operative teams inside the company

Your profile

Demonstrable leadership competencies e.g. by leading a high-performance team of engineers
5+ years of industry experience in high-tech engineering environment
Expertise in Agile development approaches
Master’s degree or higher in engineering, physics, or similar
Demonstrable software development skills, preferably Python, with experience in collaborative code maintenance
In-depth experience and expertise in at least three of the following:
- Photonic electromagnetic field simulations
- RF PCB design and RF electromagnetic field simulation
- Code-based mask layout design for photonic IC’s, as a plus: experience in working with external PDKs, libraries, and DRC
- In-depth know-how (of PIC design), fabrication and testing processes (as a plus)
- Background in optical communications or high-frequency electrical or electro-optic characterization (>40 GHz)
