• Master’s degree or higher in engineering, physics, or similar
• 4+ years of industry experience in high-tech engineering environment
• In-depth experience and expertise in at least three of the following:
  • Photonic electromagnetic field simulations
  • RF PCB design and RF electromagnetic field simulation
  • Code-based mask layout design for photonic IC’s, experience in working with external PDKs, libraries, and DRC is a plus.
  • In-depth know-how of PIC design, fabrication and testing processes
  • Strong background in optical communications or high-frequency electrical or electro-optical characterization (>40 GHz)
• Excellent software development skills with Python with experience in collaborative code maintenance and version control
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously with proven success in meeting deadlines.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
